Spectator Viewing Sites

Site One:  Near marathon mile 15 on Lemon Road
From Washington St. go north 3 blocks to 4th Avenue. Turn left on 4th and head east. 4th Ave. becomes Martin Way at the top of the hill (just past the Thiftway store on your left) at a major intersection. Go through the light and turn left on Phoenix St. then turn right on South Bay Rd. Remain on South Bay Rd. for several miles. Turn left on Schincke Rd. As it begines to curve to the left, stay to the left and it becomes Woodard Bay Road. Proceed along Woodard Bay Road and park in the Chehalis-Western Woodard Bay Trailhead Parking lot. Walk to the corner of Lemon and Woodard Bay Road. This is a great viewing area as the runners come up the hill from Woodard Bay Rd. to Lemon Rd.

Site Two: Near marathon mile 19 and half marathon mile 6
From Washington St. go north on 4th Ave. and take a left on Puget St. Stay on Puget, crossing San Francisco. Take a right on Miller Ave. USE EXTREME CAUTION IN THIS AREA AS THIS IS PART OF THE RACE COURSE! Turn left on Bethel to 26th. Take a right on 26th to the Olympia Regional Learning Academy campus on the right. Park at the school and walk to the corner of 26th and Friendly Grove Rd.

Site Three: Near marathon mile 21 and half marathon mile 7.5
Use the same instructions as Site Two, but make a right turn from Puget to San Francisco. Park off street before you reach the intersection of San Francisco and Bethel. The viewing site is on San Francisco and Puget. There is also parking available at Roosevelt Elementary on the right side of the intersection. Coffee and good bakery items available at the San Francisco Street Bakery!

Site Four: Near marathon mile 22 and half marathon mile 9
From Washington St. go east on 8th St. to Eastside. DO NOT CROSS EASTSIDE. Park off street or in the lot on the corner of 8th and Eastside. Watch the runners as they run down Eastside.

PLEASE USE CAUTION TO REACH THESE SITES. BE COURTEOUS AND DO NOT INTERFERE WITH THE RUNNERS.
