The Capital City Marathon Association is thrilled to be hosting Olympian Jeff Galloway this spring in celebration of the 35th year of our event. Known as “America’s coach,” Galloway has trained more than 1 million runners and made distance running accessible to virtually anyone through his run/walk Galloway Method. He ran with Steve Prefontaine, Bill Rodgers, Frank Shorter and Amby Burfoot when the United States was a leading power in distance running. At the age of 70, Galloway continues to run six days per week and 12 marathons a year. Details of his visit will be announced as they become available, but a free running clinic with him will be included in registration for the 2016 race.

Sign up for Jeff Galloway’s Running School on Saturday, May 14, from 8:30 - 11:30 at the Governor Hotel. Space is limited. For more information and to register visit Jeff Galloway's website.

Personalize Your Marathon/Half Marathon Medals

You have the option to personalize your hard earned Marathon or Half Marathon Finisher Medal with an iTaB (not available for the 5-mile race). The iTaB is a small plate, engraved with your name and finish time, which fits neatly in to the back of your medal. On completion of your race the iTaB will be mailed to you.

Shirts are manufactured six weeks prior to the event; therefore, we are not able to guarantee sizes.

Runners who register Saturday before the race are not guaranteed a shirt.

No day of race registration (race changes are allowed).

No refunds, substitutions, or carry-overs.

No dogs, no strollers, no bicycles, no roller blades, no in-line skates, and no wheeled vehicles (except registered wheelchairs). Violators may be disqualified and removed from the course by a Race Official.

The use of personal music devices are strongly discouraged at this race. To enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, the Capital City Marathon Association encourages a headphone-free environment while running any of the races.
